Location
The Family Village Calanè is located in Castellaneta Marina (Castellaneta home-town of Rudolph Valentino), that is between Apulia and Basilicata, on the Ionian coastal arch called the Gold Coast and is sheltered by a bio-genetic reserve of Aleppo's pines called Stornara. A small train passes through the pine forest to drive our guests to our exclusive, fine sandy, 5 km beach.
Travel
Half an hour from Grottaglie airport and one hour from the airports of Bari and Brindisi.
By car: 15 min from the highway (E 55).
By train: 30 min from Taranto and an hour from Bari.

Beach
Great, sandy beach for exclusive use. Very fine sand, gently sloping seabed, ideal for children and for healthy walks. Just six minutes by shuttle service (continuous) free (8.00am - 7.00pm) through an endless pine-wood.

Food

Tables are allocated in the main restaurant “Belvedere”.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet (bottled water and wine included).
Breakfast at the central restaurant Belvedere (two terraced floors looking at the large window overlooking the central pool). Lunch in the main restaurant or on the beach at the Belvedere Pizza-Pasta-Grill “Scirò” (beach club on wooden stilts overlooking the sea and smells rosemary wild and untouched Mediterranean bush). Dinner at the central restaurant Belvedere.

Rooms
48 rooms in the hotel zone directly connected to the lobby and common areas and 146 rooms in the west area and all develop an amphitheater (some of them with pool view) around the pool with sea water, all with air conditioning, telephone, mini-bar (fillable on request), satellite TV, hairdryer, veranda. Rooms on request.
