For a month, from November 27 to December 23, Bolzano dress sounds and colors of Christmas: Hundreds of lights illuminate the streets of the old town. In the background I can hear the melodies of Advent. And Piazza Walther, behind the cathedral, houses the characteristics of small wooden houses Christkindlmarkt, the Christmas market. Visitors, it means diving into the magical atmosphere of the traditional Advent Alpine from a myriad of Christmas decorations. And to make the most beautiful Christmas tree you''ll be spoiled for choice. Also choose the most suitable gift for grandparents, uncles, friends and cousins here becomes easy. Between choirs and musical ensembles in traditional dress, perhaps under a light dusting of snow, we can "warm up" with sweet gluttony, including apple strudel, donuts, and zelten (but only for parents) mulled wine.
Do not miss the "Enchanted Wood", a second Christmas market held in the nearby Palais Campofranco. Markets also welcomed other parts of the city.
