The island of Menorca is located in the Mediterranean Sea and is the easternmost island of the Balearic Islands. The climate is typically Mediterranean, with mild winters and warm breezy summers and little rain. The average temperature between April and October oscillates between 23 and 30 degrees. Being the quietest of the Balearic Islands tourism is very much geared to meet the needs of families with children and couples, even if young people are not lacking.

The Menorca coast is about 215 km and there are more than 80 beaches, each with its own character and charm. The largest beach is that of Son Bou, with about three kilometers of white sand stretching along a shallow bay ideal for a holiday with children. Many are in fact the family hotels in Menorca that offer many amenities for families with children who spend a holiday in Menorca.
