There are at least three good reasons to choose the Hotel Filippo, 3 star accommodation for families on the Adriatic Coast. The first is that it is a child-friendly hotel: kids club and entertainment are guaranteed in both the hotel and on the beach. The second is for its location: overlooking the beach, a stone’s throw from the pedestrian promenade and the Aquarium of Cattolica, safe attraction for all ages. The third is for the cuisine, prepared with typical national and local dishes. Of course, extra attention is dedicated to the menu for younger guests, starting with the rich and delicious breakfast. And as smartphones and tablets are tools for everyone, the Wi-Fi is ensured in all public areas and room.

The list of child-friendly services is made very easily: just look at what surrounds families. There is the Mini Club, and there is entertainment, both at the hotel and on the beach, and there is a babysitting service for lunch and dinner. There are camping cots and the beds with rails for the night and there are strollers for the day.

The beach experience begin from take the umbrella and sunbeds and many services and attention to all guests of Hotel Filippo, as the gym, whirlpool, giant drafts, water games and a bowling green. The children, in particular, can take part in the animation of the Mini Club activities, but also enjoy the playground and (learn to) swim in the pool, join the group dances and tournaments.

In Hotel Filippo rooms, cozy and elegant, everything it is fine. The many services offered start from the shower to the balcony which overlooks the Adriatic, from the TV to hairdryers, electronic safe from the phone, from the refrigerator to the independent air conditioning. As for those invisible ingredients that often make the difference, as the friendliness and attention to the guests, including children. In the case of this family hotel, it is not improvisation, but the result of lessons learned and perfected over the years. Here it is hard to resist and not to feel immediately at ease.

We’re willing to bet that most of the time will be dedicated to enjoy the sea and the beach and discover a land that has always attracted visitors from all over the world. But we are equally certain that even the time dedicated to taste the cuisine in the restaurant is going to increase meal after meal. It begins in the morning with the smell of pastries and pies, pastries, cookies, cappuccino, tea, coffee, cereals, jams and Nutella. Then continue with the lunch with three menus that dispute the choice (of course there is the usual attention for the little ones) accompanied by side dishes of fresh vegetables, grilled, rice salads, fish, pizzas and goodies of all kinds. And then it ends with dinner. And just to be sure to please everyone, the restaurant at Hotel Filippo has special menus for coeliacs and vegetarians.

The city of Cattolica is also synonymous of ancient castles of green and undulating landscapes. At a handful of kilometers there are medieval villages and natural wonders, such as Gradara, made famous by the love story of Paolo and Francesca, narrated in Dante’s Inferno, San Giovanni in Marignano, which each year celebrates the Night of the Witches, the Caves Onferno and the view from the cliff of Fiorenzuola di Focara.

Then there is one more reason to spend here your family holidays: the many theme fun parks. The “Oltremare Park” of Riccione brings young and old to discover the mysteries of the oceans and earth. A learning experience to learn, while having fun, the many little secrets of our planet and become distracted with the proposed performances. Then there is the “Aquafan” of Riccione, just the most famous aquatic fun park in Italy that in the evening becomes a great dance floor. “Italia in Miniatura” theme park in Rimini is the only park of its kind dedicated to the historical, cultural and national architecture. Here there are the 272 scale reproductions of some of the finest and most important point of interest in Italy.
And what about “Mirabilandia”, one of the funniest playgrounds throughout Italy? The attractions are divided into groups to be fun for the whole family. Definitely at hand it is the Aquarium “Le Navi” in Cattolica. It is a theme park to discover the marine world and its inhabitants.
